Complex clinical needs

High-intensity clinical supports at home

For participants with high or complex clinical needs, our nurses lead the care plan and train, support and supervise the team around you. We support people living with spinal cord injury — including autonomic dysreflexia monitoring for those at risk — motor neurone disease (MND), advanced multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and severe or complex epilepsy.

High-intensity supports include enteral (PEG) feeding, urinary catheter and invasive device management, complex bowel care, complex wound and pressure-injury care, subcutaneous injections, seizure management with emergency midazolam plans, awareness of Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) devices, and daily respiratory care routines for conditions such as MND and advanced muscular dystrophy — all delivered under nurse-led plans aligned to the NDIS High Intensity Support Skills Descriptors.
